My Reflections from High School
Freshman Year
In my Freshman year I worked on many projects, and different types of subjects. But my main focus was how music changed the U.S. I did the rap aspect, east coast and west coast music I soon realized, are totally different types of rap. Another project I had fun with was finding pictures of crazy places in the world, and asking questions about them and trying to answer them. From huge holes in the ocean, to a million dollar hotel that was never used due to it being hunted.
Sophomore Year
My passion this year came from studying civil rights activist, like Malcolm X, Henry Throe, and Martin Luther King JR. Malcolm X was a big influence in learning and what I believe. I also investigated the different types of light in our universe, the one that are helpful and ones that can harm us if to much exposer.

Junior Year
This year I plan on focusing on any type of math, and plenty of civil rights continuing from my last year at Castle View. A new project I would like to start up is making a bird house, a table, or something along those lines. Also carrying over to this year I would like to keep exploring the strange things about our universe. I started many new projects this year, Extreme Numbers, Vegas Baby, and my inquiry block question called does todays music have a greater affect on drugs and murder than in the 50s? This question I have carried over from last year just a little from How has music changed and shaped the U.S.

Can you believe that there are about 151,000 people dying everyday, but 360,000 people being born everyday. So that means there is about 6,136 dying every hour.

This week was a very productive week for my learning. I did many things like start a new science project, go over and reflect my writing with Mr. Scheinder, and started a new book called The Watsons- Going to Birmingham.
